Playson Appoints Cosmin Tanase As Head Of Compliance

Playson has appointed Cosmin Tanase as Head of Compliance on a permanent basis following his tenure in the role on an interim basis.

Tanase assumed responsibility for the digital entertainment supplier’s compliance function during a period that included its approval to enter the Philippines and its ongoing licensing application in Alberta.

He brings more than 20 years of legal experience to the position, including almost four years working within the iGaming industry.

Tanase To Lead Playson Compliance Function

Since joining Playson in 2024, Tanase has supported the company’s operations across multiple regulated markets and overseen a range of compliance activities.

His responsibilities have included certifications, game approvals and regulatory submissions, alongside supporting new market entries in Alberta and the Philippines.

Tanase has also worked on strengthening the supplier’s monitoring processes and improving compliance procedures across its operations.

As Head of Compliance, he will continue to oversee Playson’s regulatory activities as the company expands its presence across regulated markets.
