Allwyn Appoints Fredrik Ögren As Group Chief Technology Officer
Fredrik Ögren has joined Allwyn as group chief technology officer after spending five years in the same role at Betsson Group.

Allwyn has appointed Fredrik Ögren as its new group chief technology officer as the lottery-led gaming company develops its technology strategy across the business.
Ögren joins Allwyn from Betsson Group, where he served as chief technology officer for the past five years.
In his new position, Ögren will report to Kresimir Spajic, CEO of Allwyn Digital, and will be responsible for shaping and delivering the group’s technology strategy.
His remit will include developing a more connected technology ecosystem to support Allwyn’s operations and future growth.
Cross Moves Into New Technology Role
Brett Cross, who had been serving as Allwyn’s interim group CTO, will move into the newly created position of CTO, global lottery and deputy group CTO.
Cross will report to Ögren as part of the company’s updated technology leadership structure.
Ögren said:
“I am thrilled to be joining Allwyn at such an exciting stage in its growth journey. Technology plays a critical role in creating great player experiences, enabling innovation and supporting long-term business success.“I look forward to working with colleagues across the group to build an even more connected technology ecosystem, strengthen our capabilities and help deliver the next phase of Allwyn's growth.”
Spajic added: “We're delighted to welcome Fredrik to Allwyn. He brings deep industry experience, strong technical expertise and a proven track record of leading technology transformation across global organisations.
“His appointment is an important step in building a more scalable technology platform across the group, helping us deliver even better experiences for our customers and partners.
“I'd also like to thank Brett Cross for his leadership as interim Group CTO and congratulate him on his new role as CTO of Global Lottery. Together, Fredrik and Brett form a strong technology leadership team for the next phase of Allwyn's growth.”
The appointment follows Allwyn’s announcement in late September that it was distributing more than 1.5 million limited-edition National Lottery FastPay wallets to its retail partners.
