Midnite Pays Out £9,000 To Southampton, Middlesbrough And Wolves Fans Through 2UP Initiative
Midnite’s 2UP initiative has paid out a combined £9,000 to seven Southampton, Middlesbrough and Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters after their teams secured two-goal leads in home league matches.

Midnite’s 2UP initiative has paid out a combined £9,000 to fans of Southampton, Middlesbrough and Wolverhampton Wanderers during the early stages of the 2026/27 season.
Midnite is the principal partner of Wolves, Middlesbrough and Sheffield United, as well as Southampton’s official training kit partner for the 2026/27 season.
The bookmaker’s 2UP initiative gives supporters the opportunity to win money when their team takes a two-goal lead in a home league match. The prize pot increases by £1,000 after each home league fixture.
So far this season, Southampton have taken a two-goal lead four times, Middlesbrough twice and Wolves once, resulting in seven supporters winning a combined £9,000.
Southampton Supporters Share £4,000
Southampton fans Mel Linter, Dean Brown, Sue Curtis and Jayden Frankling have each won £1,000 after Tonda Eckert’s side took a two-goal lead in four home league matches.
Middlesbrough supporter Jane Edmends won £2,000 following the club’s 3–1 victory over West Brom last month. Kieran Addison also won £1,000 after Kim Hellberg’s side defeated Norwich 4–3.
Wolves supporter Ashley Richards won £2,000 after the team recorded a 4–1 victory over Stoke last month.
The 2UP prize pot for Middlesbrough currently stands at £2,000, while Southampton’s prize pot is £1,000.
Sheffield United Prize Pot Reaches £14,000
Sheffield United’s 2UP prize pot stands at £14,000 ahead of the club’s next home league match.
Midnite ran a similar campaign at Bramall Lane last season, called Brace Yourself, under which one supporter would win money if a Sheffield United player scored twice in a home league match.
As there was no Brace Yourself winner, Midnite began the 2026/27 2UP campaign with a £10,000 prize pot for Sheffield United. A further £1,000 rolls over after each home league match.
Andrew Mook, head of brand marketing at Midnite, said:
“We have seen some brilliant moments for our partner clubs in the early stages of the season, and we’re delighted that ‘2UP’ has allowed fans to share in that success.
“Seven supporters have already won a combined £9,000 simply by seeing their team take a two-goal lead in a Championship home match, which is exactly what the initiative is all about - adding even more excitement to a matchday and giving back to the fans.
“With the prize pot growing after every home league game, there are plenty more opportunities to win big throughout the season.
“We’re showing club sponsorship by Midnite is Built Different.”
