BetMGM Extends NFL Partnership to Alberta’s iGaming Market
BetMGM has renewed its partnership with the National Football League (NFL) in Canada, extending its official sports betting status to Alberta following the province’s regulated iGaming market launch in July.

BetMGM has extended its status as an Official Sports Betting Partner of the NFL in Canada, expanding the agreement to cover Alberta’s newly regulated iGaming market.
The one-year extension builds on the operator’s original partnership with the NFL, established in 2022 to support its launch in Ontario’s regulated market.
BetMGM was among the first operators to secure an Alberta licence and launch in the province when its iGaming market opened in July.
NFL Branding Rights Continue
Under the renewed agreement, BetMGM will retain the rights to use NFL intellectual property in its Canadian marketing campaigns, including the league’s shield, team marks and major events such as the Super Bowl.
The partnership will also feature integrated marketing activations and premium hospitality experiences.
Matt Prevost, BetMGM’s chief revenue officer, said responsible gambling and game integrity remained central to the relationship.
Responsible Gambling Remains a Priority
“We share the league’s view that sports betting must be built on trust: fair competition on the field, and a safe, responsible experience for the fans who choose to bet,” Prevost said.
“Together, we’ll continue to give fans in Ontario and Alberta a premium way to engage with the NFL, with responsible gaming built into every part of it.”
BetMGM offers a range of NFL betting markets for every game, including anytime touchdown scorer wagers, player proposition bets, futures and live betting options.
Betting Markets and Features
The operator also offers expanded Cash Out options, allowing customers to settle eligible bets before an event’s final outcome is determined.
Gavin Kemp, general manager of NFL Canada, said the league would continue working with partners that prioritise responsible gambling as the sports betting market develops.
“As the sports betting landscape continues to evolve, we remain committed to working with partners who share our focus on responsible gaming, ensuring fans can enjoy the excitement of the NFL in a safe and informed way,” Kemp said.
